Masters of Social Work, Registered Social Worker

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming and intimidating—but I believe the courage it takes to begin is the most powerful step toward healing. Whether you’re feeling lost in anxiety, stuck in past pain, or disconnected from yourself or others, you deserve a space that feels safe enough to explore the hard stuff—and supportive enough to help you grow through it.

My approach is grounded in deep respect for your unique story. I don’t believe in “fixing” people—I believe in walking alongside them as they rediscover their own strength, resilience, and sense of self. My work is rooted in a relational, trauma-informed, and holistic lens that honours the mind-body connection and the environments we live in. I draw from both EMDR and Hakomi, which support gentle yet profound healing of past trauma through body-based awareness, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation.

I adapt to each person I work with, recognizing that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I’m especially drawn to working with individuals who are highly sensitive and achievement-driven, and those who may have had negative or unhelpful experiences with therapy in the past. You are more than the symptoms you’re carrying—and therapy with me is about making space for all of you: the anxious parts, the protective parts, and the parts still waiting to be seen.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve supported individuals and families across a range of settings—hospitals, live-in residential programs, and community-based organizations. I currently also serve as a Clinical Supervisor in Adult Addiction and Mental Health with Alberta Health Services, in addition to my work at Internal Expressions Counselling

I believe there’s a right therapist for everyone, and I’m always open to a conversation to help you figure out if we’re the right fit.
